We may be forced to judge 2024 so far as it’s turning to be brutal and unfolding with shocking and scaring news. Last night, House of Prayer Ministries International lead pastor Aloysious Bugingo was attacked in areas of Nansana about 11:30pm, showered with bullets and left his driver dead.
The vocal pastor survived by a whisker and was rushed to Mulago hospital. This shocking development has left Ugandans worried of their lives. Yesterday started with a UPDF chopper which crashed in Kabarole district and would later turn dark in the night.

In a separate incident, former Kawempe South legislator and COSASE boss Mubarak Munyagwa is said to have been attacked by panga wielding men in the deep of the night at around 3am, his gateman who is yet to be identified was brutally killed and reports suggest the former MP was only saved by police which arrived in time.
Munyagwa an ardent FDC member subscribes to the FDC wing of Katonga led by Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago and patronized by four-time presidential candidate Dr Kiiza Besigye after a bitter split last year from Amuriat’s Najjanankumbi based-FDC wing. Munyagwa was replaced in the 2021 general elections by Journalist Bashir Kazibwe
