President Yoweri Kaguta TibuhaburwaMuseveni’s daughter Pastor Patience Museveni Rwabwogo was on Tuesday night at a Nairobi hotel, Kenya to launch her book dubbed ‘Jesus ‘Africa’ which she authored few months back.
Patience was accompanied by her husband and business mogul Odrek Rwabwogo at a colorful event which was graced by the wife to Kenya’s Deputy President Pastor Dorcas Rigathi as the Chief Guest. The Nairobi launch of her book followed the first one that took place at State House Entebbe in May this year which was graced by Museveni and his wife Janet.

Speaking at the event, Patience revealed how she first heard God speak to her when she was just 11years old and has held to the faith since that tender age even as God called her to be a minister to the gospel before saying that launching the book in Kenya’s capital is like homecoming as she reminisced the days when her family lived in Kenya.
“17 years ago, I received a call from the Lord to become a minister of the Gospel. It is a personal journey of dying to self, trusting God and walking by faith. Launching the book in Nairobi is a home coming for me”
Mrs Rwabwogo cautioned the church which was heavily represented in the audience by pastors and fathers of faith by noting that; “You can tell the state of the church by looking at the condition of the nation.”
She also talked about how the US has already hatched plans to remove Uganda from AGOA because of it’s firm stand against LGBTQ. Uganda enacted of the toughest Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023 which comes with a death penalty, life imprisonment and heavy fine for those involved in homosexuality.
The launch was attended by Fathers of Faith from Kenya led by Bihop Dr. Mophat Kilioba of PEFA churches, and Archbishop Arthur Kitonga of the Redeemed Gospel Churches, Bishop Dr. Pius Muiru of Maximum Miracle Centre, Bishop David Muriithi of House of Grace and Rev Julian Kyula among others.
Speaking at the event, Rigathi Gachagua’s wife Dorcas who was the guest of honor said Africans needed to shake off stereotypes associated with the ‘dark’ continent.
“Africa is blessed with gifts of strategic leadership. We must reject divisions from external forces, and embrace our shared identity. Africa is blessed with rch natural resources, vibrant culture and, youthful and energetic population. We must combat stereotypes of poverty, and diseases. Africans are warm, ethical and full of life”-said Pastor Dorcas.
Se also added that it was a honor to attend the Uganda book launch, as well as the Nairobi launch because of her firm belief in family values and family ethics. She has family spoken against homosexuality in public fora and also in universities whenever she’s given chance to address.
“I am honored to be here at this launch because the foundation of my office is chaplaincy, outreach an family values. We must return to family values, family ethics,”-said Pastor Dorcas.
On his side while speaking at th launch, Rev Kyula commended Patience for writing the book saying, “I am happy with this launch, for Africa shall have libraries filled with books authored by our people, and speaking to us.”
He also said the region has a great opportunity of completely reshaping the future of Africa since in it lies a pastor who was spouse to the Deputy president of Kenya and another pastor who is a daughter to the president of Uganda.
This book is stirring things that have not been talked about in Africa” said Reve Kyula who urged Kenyans and Africa to invest in the book, and read it.
