When the Premier of Busoga Kingdom Dr Joseph Muvawala Nsekele posted on his socials that a big announcement is making for Busoga Kingdom, he left every one in suspense on what he was going to announce.
Some thought he was going to tender in his resignation from the position he has held since 2014 but no he brings news regarding the Kyabazinga HRH Wiliam Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV.

While delivering the good news, premier Nadiope has revealed that the King who has braved cold nights and leaving his subjects wondering if he is seeing some one to become the Inhebantu of Busoga Kingdom. Inhebantu is a title given to the wife of a Busoga King who is also referred to as Isebantu.
Well, ahead of his 9th Coronation Anniversary which is going to held in Kigulu on 13th September 2023, Dr Muvaala has unveiled the portrait of King Gabula’s Wife who is none other than Her Royal Highness Mutesi Jovia a born of Mayuge in his Bunha Chiefdom.

Muvawala also says all the traditions regarding the marriage and installation of a Busoga Queen are in high gear and the wedding is set to happen at Christ Cathedral Bugembe in Jinja City.
“On behalf of the people of Busoga and the surrounding areas and on my own behalf, i wish to congratulate the Isebantu the Kyabaziga of Busoga and Inhebantu upon this great and memorable decision of having a family which is synonymous with our Kisoga culture. This is a true reflection of how culture cultured our king and the queen as a person. Just like other Basoga who love the kingdom, am satisfied that Busoga’s missing link has finally been found….”-said Muwavala while announcing the big news to the Basoga.
