President Museveni was confirmed positive of Covid-19 on 08th June and forced to self isolate at Nakasero state lodge a day after delivering the State of The Nation Address at Kololo independence grounds.
The president would later delegate his duties of president to prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja as his second in command was away in Zambia for a COMESA summit in Lusaka.
Despite his medics and himself updating the country on the progress of his healing from the deadly virus, this didn’t stop rumors from spreading on social media claiming how the big man from Rwakitura was in critical condition and admitted in Intensive Care Unit.

State house and Museveni’s Deputy Press secretary Kirunda Faruk has come out to debunk the fake news that were spreading like wild fire.
According to Kirunda, Museveni is in good condition and there’s no cause for worry as he’s steadily improving and would be back to his feet soon saying it’s sadists spreading such fake news.
