Questions in every one’s mind now especially from the political corridors are, Has General Salim Saleh been funding opposition politicians, is he the one behind the flamboyant Kampala city mayor Erias Lukwago? Is he just tickling opposition minds? what did Erias Lukwago say about him? if indeed what’s going around is true or an allegation.
According to a note making rounds on social media allegedly written by Museveni’s brother who is also the national coordinator of the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) General Salim Saleh is not happy with Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago for offending him and saying he (Salim Saleh) is misusing the power.

As a result of this, General Saleh has since allegedly made it crystal clear that he’s withdrawing all the support he has been offering to the lord Mayor Erias Lukwago in his political fights and will only give him a second chance after he has apologized.
“I’m very offended by what you have said about me. I have withdrawn all the support I have been giving you in your fights until you apologize”-reads part of the note seen by this website.
This has left many people whispering with many unanswered questions on what exactly Lord Mayor said about Salim Saleh and on what platform and if what’s going around is indeed General Salim Saleh complaining, it also leaves questions on how Lukwago has been receiving funding from the NRM historial who has settled in his Kapeeka industrial park in Luwero.
Gen Saleh (Rtd) to Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago.
Dear Brother,
I'm very offended by what you have said about me.
I have withdrawn all the support I have been giving you in your fights until you apologise.

Our efforts for a comment from the Lord mayor, who is also a Forum for Democratic Change big man were futile after all his known contacts were unavailable.
