Ever since the news started making rounds that the speaker of Parliament is in critical condition in the US where he was flown early last month, people on social media started peddling rumors that he’s dead which actually was not true.
Death rumors made rounds on social media after the Director Communications at Parliament Chris Obore revealed that the Deputy Speaker Anita Among alongside several other people including the Chief Justice Alphonse Owiny Dollo and speakers Brother were on a flight to check on the ill country’s number three who was last seen in public in late December 2021.
However, ever since the team went to check on him, Ugandans have been questioning why those that went haven’t subsequently updated the country on the status of the patient they went to meet. The wait is over, Democratic Party president Norbert Mao who is also in Seatle has hinted on the status of the speaker by only asking Ugandans to pray for him as the Deputy Speaker Anita Among prepares to give the country a comprehensive update on her boss’ health status.
