This morning, the Returning Officer of Kayunga District Janepher Kyobutungi declared the results with NRM’s Andrew Muwonge winning after polling 31830 votes followed by NUP’s Harriet Nakwedde with 31380 votes and the rest of the candidates polled the rest of the votes with DP’s Anthony Wadimba getting 159 votes, Boniface Bandikubi independent got 270 votes, Majid Nyanzi polled 1287 votes and Jamil Kamoga got 279 votes.
