The forum for Democratic Change presidential candidate Patrick Oboi Amuriat is on the trail to Soroti where he’s set to launch his manifesto as Soroti grounds as Campaigns officially kick off.
Amuriat decided to launch his manifesto from Soroti because that’s the genesis of his political career, reports indicate that security has already been beefed in the area to do what they do best in case of anything.
It should be noted that on nomination day, Security grabbed POA by his trousers and courts last week, drove him away from the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi and dumped him at Kyambogo nomination centre without shoes and he has since said he will traverse the country without shoes to show his discontent to the security that mistreated him.
Presidential candidates have officially started campaigns and President Yoweri Tibuhaburwa and John Katumba will both start from Luwero in different venues, NUP’s Bobi wine will start from Arua where he almost lost his life but gave a mileage to his political career.
Nancy Kalembe will be in Jinja, Luuka, Buyende and Mayuge, joseph Kabuleta Kiiza will be in Gulu and we shall keep you posted of any updates that will come through.
