Peter Sematimba the member of parliament for Busiro south tested the wrath of his angry voters who accused him of wasting the time they expected him to present matters of national importance and represent their grievances on the floor of parliament in doing make up even in the house.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Sematimba is booed as he smartly moves to his car to drive away from the humiliation. Female voters are heard asking him to give them the lipstick and some cosmetics.
Sematimba was in 2016 challenged over his academic papers, he won the case but he was later seen sitting for senior six UNEB examinations in 2019 which exposed the impunity in the courts of law because court insisted and kept in parliament yet in actual sense he had no requisite requirements.
He won the chaotic NRM elections with stiff competition from Engineer Charles Lwanga who petitioned to the Tanga Odoi commission challenging Sematimba’s win but canceling the election and awarding him victory was as hard as finding frog hair.
