Busoga’s top journalist who doubles as the program’s director for one of the big media organs in jinja Twahir Ddamulira was yesterday night arrested by Uganda police in Jinja town over unknown charges.
Ddamulira was arrested with other 5 other colleagues who are also detained with him at Nalufenya Police post!
The 5 include; 2 mechanics who had come to pick money from them after repairing their car, a female known as Suzan, Mukose Rajab alias Daddy Alonso and the driver.
According to BABA FM, a media organ that employees Ddamurila Twahir reveals that the Police PRO Hajji Abbey Moiti also isn’t clear about the charges and their efforts to secure a Police bond so far has hit a dead end as the area PRO advised them to contact area RPC identified as Hijira.
BABA FM also reveals that RPC hinted on more arrests of its presenters who include; Kalyowa Atanans, Swengere, Kasolo Alton and Namulondo Zakia for reasons unknown yet
