News reaching Ultimate News indicate that jailed former Makerere Researcher and activist Dr Stella Nyanzi has been released from jail where she has spent almost 15 months on charges of abusing the person of the president and his late mum Esteri Kokundeka
In a court session that was presided over by Magistrate Kamasanyu, Dr Stella Nyanzi stipped naked and hurled obscenities through a live link from Luzira that later turned chaotic as water bottles were through at the judge
However, Stella Nyanzi conviction and sentence has been quashed by High Court judge Henry Peter Adonyo. The judge based on lack of jurisdiction and fair hearing to overturn the lower court verdict.
