A security guard commonly known as Corporal Tanga George has succumbed to injuries he sustained after a street kid hacked him with a machete in Jinja town.
This followed a heated arguement when the 50 year old man arrested one of the street kid who he says had stolen iron bars at Kazimingi , as he was taking him to custody at Napier road Market police post, the street kid who was in possession of a knife hacked him on the neck which resulted into his death at Jinja main hospital where he had been rushed for medical attention.
Jinja town has had a spate of criminals committed by street kids who have become a menace in the ghost town, two months ago street kids set a braze several houses in Masese in Walukuba-Masese division.
Police in Jinja had not given a report on the incident by the time we filled this story.
