
Kyadondo East MP and people power boss Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has come out talk about Kayihura’s ban from stepping a foot in the United state.
The Trump administration through the secretary of state Mike Pompeo issued sanctions on former police boss General Kale Kayihura and his top men during his reign at the helm of Uganda police former for 13 years.
The US banned Kayihura through a document posted on the Secretary of State website sighting corruption, human rights violations during his regime as police chief.
Bobi Wine says Kayihura presided over a violent and brutal police force which committed so many atrocities on the people of Uganda. He further advised those with power to take Kayihura’s ban as a lesson.
General Edward Kale Kayihura was Uganda’s police boss from 2005 to 2017 when his friendship with President met a hard rock leading to sacking from the police job and later detained at Makindye Military prison on charges of abuse of office among others which might have been summed up the day he was given bail.
