The people power movement has disregarded news that had started circulating yesterday indicating that Kyadondo East legislator who is set to challenge president Museveni’s 34 year old rule has dropped his presidential ambition.
The news that surfaced on faded political blogger Tom Voltaire Okwalinga’s facebook page and later picked by some news websites has been watered down by the movement spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi calling it fake.
The 38 year old legislator has for the past three years proved to be fit to challenge the status quo despite defections to the ruling party by his supporters recently being facebook handler Ashburg Kato and Raysuperstar who denounced people power after allegedly meeting president Museveni early this year.
This comes at the backdrop of electoral commission held between slab and rock to release a new electoral road map amidst the Corona virus pandemic that has caused havoc worldwide.
