BREAKING: Man Brutalized by Museveni Minister’s Body Guards Dies.

Sad news coming in indicate that an unidentified man who appeared in a video that widely circulated today on social media accusing Sam Kuteesa’s body guards of brutalizing him has finally died.

The ugly  incidence comes amidst heavy security deployment in Mawogola sub-county, in anticipation of the forthcoming election in the area.

In the video, a man alleged that he was badly beaten nearly to death by gangs affiliated to Kuteesa’s camp over matters related to politics of Mawogola, and its said that he belonged to the opposing camp of NRM aspirant Godfrey Aine Kaguta alias Sodo.

The identity of the man in the video is not yet established.

BREAKING: Al Hajji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala is dead

Sad news coming in indicate that former Kampala mayor Al Hajji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala has dead from IHK hospital.

Ssebagala was recently admitted in the hospital after falling in the bathroom but its alleged that later he was diagnosed with high blood pressure.

Ssebagala had come back to elective politics and was seeking to contest again for the position of Kampala Lord Mayor on National Unity Platform(NUP).

National Unity Platform president as well presidential aspirant Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi has revealed that once he takes over the presidential office of Uganda, he will make sure that all professionals like doctors, teachers and police officers will earn a minimum of at least one million Uganda shillings.

BREAKING NEWS: Horror as Bus carrying covid-19 patients catches fire

In coming sad news indicate that over 25 covid-19 patients have survived death after the parliamentary bus in which they were travelling caught fire.

According to the official statement on official Parliament twitter handle reveals that the bus caught fire on the Gulu- Kampala Highway, however all occupants are safe and left unhurt.

By press time, police had start investigating the circumstances under which the bus caught fire.

BREAKING: Minister Rukutana has been arrested crossing to Rwanda.

News reaching our desk indicate that Hon. Minister Rukutana mwesigye has been arrested crossing into Rwanda.

Rukutana has been arrested by a combined force of SFC, CMI, ISO, ESO and police.

According to various sources,he is to answer charges not limited to attempted murder, treason, aggravated Robbery, espionage and Plundering of Uganda’s resources.

More sad news also indicates that the man who was shot at by Minister Mwesigwa Rukutana has reportedly died.

Rukutana shot this man as he fought agents in the NRM Primaries in Rushenyi county which he lost terribly to former Ntungamo district woman MP Naomi Kabasharira.

VIDEO: Uganda Police Cops Filmed Stealing Fuel

The Uganda police force is on spot over it’s cops who were filmed stealing fuel from a truck that got an accident in a yet to be identified place.

In a video that’s making rounds on social media, the cops are seen loading jerrycans of fuel stolen from the truck on the police patrol vehicle. In such scenarios of motor accidents, police is supposed to provide security to avoid catastrophes where fuel burns people who always throng to steal the fuel.

Several Ugandans have lost their lives inn such instances of people attempting to steal fuel from trucks that go down due to accidents with the recent one being rubirizi fuel truck accident which claimed over 20 people last year.

Police is yet to give a statement on it’s officers seen stealing fuel from the truck.

Breaking News: President Museveni Declares 29th August a Public Holiday

President Museveni has declared 29th august a public in the fight against Covid-19, through his social media handles, Museveni revealed that a certain Uganda approached him and told him to go the Magufuri style that God had told him in a vision that Museveni should organize National Prayers, scientifically organized, for God to deliver Uganda from COVID 19.

Therefore, by the powers given to the President of Uganda by Section 2(2) of the Public Holidays Act, Museveni has declared the 29th of August 2020, a day of National Prayers and a Public Holiday.

This comes at a time when many Ugandans are upbeat about Museveni’s anticipated tough speech about Covid-19 cases and deaths that have surged in the last two weeks, while speaking to his party members a tough talking Museveni warned Kampala city dwellers about their reluctance to follow the Ministry of Health SoPs that has seen a spike in cases prompting many to think he may pause another strict lockdown.

Firebrand National Unity Platform (NUP) president Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine and other party leaders have today morning paid a private visit to one of the most influential leaders of Uganda Muslim community as well as also a key member of Buganda Kingdom’s royal family Prince Jibril Kassim Nakibinge.

It’s believed that during their visit, people power fraternity led buy Hon. Kyagulanyi discussed a number of issues mainly concerning about the general elections that are just around the corner.

After the meeting, Prince Nakibinge addressed the media where he has thanked the National Unity Platform-NUP President and people power Principle Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu for fronting a campaign to awaken Uganda’s young population.

Prince Nakibinge applauded Bobi Wine for the big role he has played in reminding the long-time relaxed youths that it’s their role to take part in the governance of their country.

“The fruits of your struggle are beginning to be seen and soon the country will harvest from your efforts” He said.

According to Reports indicate that he was shot by the counter-terrorism police officers attached to UNRA weighbridge station in Koranorya Mbarara city.

AMISOM Commended For Maintaining Peace And Stability In Somalia

The District Commissioner of Barawe Sheikh Umar has commended the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) forces for their role in ensuring peace and stability in Barawe district.

Presiding over the handover and takeover ceremony held at the district headquarters in Barawe,the District Police Commander Sheikh Umar commended the synergies amongst AMISOM, Somalia security forces and the local community.

He pledged to strengthen the relationship through continued support to all parties in the quest for peace and stability in Somalia. “AMISOM has portrayed high level of discipline and professionalism while conducting its operations here in Barawe, the Somali community is proud of you,” Sheikh Umar said.

He also urged all stake holders to support AMISOM’s activities in the region and always cooperate as a way of increasing the morale.

Sheikh Umar, further lauded AMISOM for supporting the development of Barawe through the various Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities, that have changed the face of living standards of the local community.

He reiterated that the Somali government together with the community is willing to continue cooperating and supporting AMISOM’s operations.

While representing the Battle Group Twenty-Nine Commander (BG XXIX) Col Edward Kaddu, Lt Col Kaheru Bagyenda who is also the Commanding Officer of the UPDF 3rd Battalion, thanked both government leaders and the local community for the hospitality always accorded to the Ugandan troops while executing their duties in Barawe.

He congratulated both incoming and outgoing District Police Commissioners for their new appointments and urged them to anchor their work on rendering good service to the community.

Lt Col Kaheru urged all stakeholders to work with unity and togetherness in order to build on the developments already in place. He also reiterated advice to the local community, to continue practicing the set health measures aimed at mitigating the spread of Covid-19.

The BGXXIX CIMIC Officer, Capt Obed Mbarebaki said Ugandan troops’peace keeping operations are moving on smoothly, mainly because of the good relations they have maintained with locals in Barawe.

He pledged to support and coordinate various initiatives intended to further the development of Barawe district and its residents.

The function was attended by the BGXXIX Military Information Officer Maj Pius Ruhinda, Lower Shabelle Police Chief, Somali National Army officers and other government leaders.
