VIDEO: Woman Intercepted while taking 4-legged cock to speaker Kadaga.

A 30-year-old woman identified as Nakato Charity, a resident of Jinja West was over the weekend intercepted by residents of Kamuli district while taking a 4-legged roaster to Speaker Rt Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga as a gift!

According to Charity, she claims to have gotten a vision and a voice told her to give the cock to the speaker because of her generosity.

This awkward incidence happens just after in September,a young man wearing a school uniform was arrested at Parliament while taking a child’s head disguised as a wrapped gift to Speaker Kadaga!

Since then Uganda police embarked on its investigations into the matter and no conclusive report has been given for that matter.

 

UPDF Puts Facts Right On The Boarder Clash with South Sudanese Army

The Uganda Peoples Defence forces (UPDF) has noted with concern the statement attributed to the director of media and press and spokesperson of the South Sudan Peoples Defence Forces (SSPDF) dated 29th Oct 2020.

The statement is completely false and a deliberate misrepresentation of what actually happened.

What happened is regrettable and can be avoided through mutual condemnation and decisive action against the remnant errant elements who on their own frolic, made this incursion into Ugandan territory ostensibly for the unofficial and individual criminal ends of extorting and robbing the Ugandan public.

Regarding the incident, the following are the facts:

  1. That on 27th Oct 2020 at around 1300hrs SSPDF troops of about a platoon(36) size established an illegal road block and an ambush at Ted-Nagwe (Atwila) in Pangira sub-county, Lamwo district several kms inside Ugandan territory for unknown reasons.
  2. On receiving this information from the locals, the UPDF deployment in the area of Ngomoromo moved to Ted Nagwe on a fact-finding mission.
  3. While approaching the spot where the illegal roadblock was, one SSPDF soldier was spotted and the UPDF commander approached him for an explanation. While interacting with him, the rest came from the ambush and instantly opened fire towards the UPDF troops.
  4. The SSPDF soldiers were however, subdued by UPDF retaliatory fire in which two SSPDF soldiers died and one was captured with three guns (SMG). There was no single casualty registered on UPDF side.

The two bodies, the captured soldier and the three guns were handed over to the South Sudanese authorities on 29th Oct 2020.

It is within the means of the leadership of both the UPDF and SSPDF to address and put this matter to rest.

The continued incursions onto Ugandan territory by South Sudanese armed elements, presents a challenge not only to the border communities but to the brotherly relations between the two countries.

Last, the ministries of foreign affairs and Defence of the two sister countries are working closely to address the matter. Diplomatic engagements by relevant stake holders are ongoing to complete the re-demarcation and reaffirmation of the common border to forestall future conflicts.

Big Named Players to Miss Manchester United Clash with Arsenal

Manchester United and rival Arsenal the gunners are in their final preparations for a face off at the Old Trafford tonight in the highly anticipated match for the two teams this season.

Arsenal will be traveling to Old Trafford with a mission after their back to back defeats against Leicester and Manchester city while the red devils will be keen to pardon their performance against RB Leipzig which they thumped 5-0.

The return of Anthony Martial has boosted Ole Gunner Gunnar’s side and he’s a big name for the red devils but he is set to miss today’s game due to his suspension which he was given as a red card during the 6-1 loss against Tottenham.

Another Manchester United big name player set to miss today’s game is Eric Bailly who is out due to a muscle injury and will be out for a full month. Other players out of tonight’s game is Alex Telles who was reported to have contacted the Covid-19 while Jesse Lingard will also miss due to an unspecified problem

Apart from United machine, Martial missing the todays game, another player who will not be able to play todays game is the United defender Eric Bailly. Bailly shall miss the game due to a muscle injury. His boss confirmed that he is suffering from injury problems and he will be out of game for one month.

Out of the four players who will miss the Arsenal class, Phil jones will also miss out because he is out due to a knee injury and has since under gone operation but will hopefully be back in December.

Manchester United will be looking forward to hosting Arsenal at Old Trafford stadium in their matchday 6 premier league fixture, the two sides have good records against each other and it would it would be lovely to see them clash today.

The Red devils in their last premier league fixture, had a disappointing goalless draw with Chelsea at home, it wasn’t really a great match for United as most of their efforts were palmed by Chelsea world class goal keeper Edourd Mendy.

Manchester United could employ Goal Keeper De Gea, Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, Van Dee Beek, Fernandez, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Greenwood and Marcus Rashford at the striking line.

Arsenal lost 1-0 to Leicester city in their last premier league fixture at the Emirates Stadium, Jamie Vardy’s 80th minute goal gave Leicester city win and the three points. Mikel Arteta’s side however won Dundalk 3-0 in the UEFA Europa League Matchday fixture 2 at home. It was a great night for Arsenal as the lead their group B tale of the Europa league.

Edward Nketiah scored for Arsenal in the first half of the match. Joseph Willock doubled the lead just before half time and Nicholas Pepe scored the third goal as Arsenal sealed their match up.

Everton’s goal keeper Jordan Pickford has been forced to hire body guards to protect himself and his family after getting several death threats from Liverpool fans for injuring Van Dijk who has undergone surgery today.

The two collided in the 2-2 Merseyside derby and Van Dijk got a serious ligament knee injury which has sent him to the sick bed and will be out of action for some time and the angry fans are threatening the man who injured him.

After undergoing a successful surgery, Liverpool has not given a time-frame on his return, with the Dutch defender potentially ruled out for the rest of the season due to the nature of the injury.

CAF president Ahmad Ahmad Tests Positive For Covid-19

CAF president Ahmad Ahmad

President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Ahmad Ahmad has tested positive for COVID-19, the African football governing body announced on its website on Friday.

“After his arrival in Cairo on Wednesday October 28, Mr. Ahmad Ahmad, President of CAF, presented mild flu symptoms, and submitted to the Covid19 protocol,” read a statement released by CAF on Friday.

“Today, the test results are positive. The President immediately self-isolated for at least the next 14 days at his hotel,” the statement added.

The CAF called all those who have come into contact with Ahmad over the past seven days, especially during his trip to Morocco for the Confederation Cup, to take the necessary measures.

Ahmad, who recently attended the final of the African Confederation Cup in Morocco, arrived in Cairo to attend the meeting of the CAF Emergencies Committee to determine the situation of the second leg of the African Champions League semi-final between Zamalek and Raja and the competiton’s final.

CAF decided on Thursday to postpone the second leg of the African Champions League semi-final between Zamalek and Raja and the competiton’s final indefinitely upon the request of the Egyptian authorities because it come in tandem with the ongoing Egyptian parliamentary elections.

The second leg of the semi-final between Zamalek and Raja was set to be played on 1 November in Cairo.

Cairo giants Ahly have already reached the final after beating Wydad of Casablanca 5-1 on aggregate last week. The final was initially scheduled to be played on 6 November in Egypt.

The 60-year-old has been in charge of the Confederation of African Football since 2017 when he replaced Issa Hayatou in his post.

Maggie Kayima however appreciates the time he spent with the fallen pastor contending they were friends in 2008 but started serious bonking in 2009 as the two were sharing the same stage performing miracles.
