Information reaching Ultimate News desk indicates that former minister of Education and sports Hon. Geraldine Namirembe Bitamazire has passed on.
She also served as the woman member of parliament for Mpigi district for 10 years from 2001 to 2011.
Bitamazire was at the helm of the Education ministry from 1978 to 1980 and bounced back to the same ministry from 2005 to 2011 and by the time of her death she has been the Chancellor of Uganda Management Institute (UMI),
