Speaker Anita Among has today hosted Museveni’s son (a serving military officer) to a political rally in Bukedea in a move that’s aimed at pushing for his support of the MK movement in Teso region as he eyes at replacing his father on the throne which he (Museveni) has held with a tight grip for the last now for 37 years.
Franked by her Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and speaking at the event, Speaker Anita Among alluded (biblical allusion) to the Catholic biblical trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit while referring to her visiting army General who also serves as the presidential advisor on special operations.
“For us in Bukedea District, we believe in the name of the father, son and the holy spirit. Over 300 MPS are here just to show you that the 11th parliament loves you”-said Among amidst ululations from the multitudes of people.

In summary almost three quotas of the 11th parliament is in Bukedea singing songs of praise and worship to General Muhoozi Keinerugaba as he tours Teso region to canvas support for his MK Movement. In a video and photos making rounds on social media, all the 300+ legislators are seen lining up to greet the president’s son.
