I will never forget the night of July 31st. I was living in Kireka, in Wakiso district, with my family and working as a watchman in Bugolobi, protecting one of the big malls in the area. My job had its fair share of challenges, but nothing could have prepared me for what happened that night.

The next day, the owner of the mall informed me that goods worth Shs80m had been stolen, and he held me responsible. I was devastated. I had no money to pay for the lost goods and faced numerous court struggles. I decided to quit my job as a watchman, vowing never to work in that field again.
