Dear Uganda leadershíp;
Don’t deceive Ugandans; we need the world bank and western funding but have to be wise and knowledgeable.
Those who say we don’t need world bank and all western world funding don’t understand the Bible and pretend to be over righteous just playing to the gallery of ignorant and greatly manipulated Ugandans.
The Bible is clear in Ecclesiastes 2.26: ‘For to the one who pleases him, God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner, he has given the business of gathering and collecting only to give to one who pleases God. This also is a vanity and striving after wind.’
We need western financial support for our hospitals, infrastructural developments: roads, bridges, power, etc; education, tourism, justice and all other sectors.
Being wise and knowledgeable, we need western fools to plunder from for our own national betterment.
We have to admit that it was totally foolish, hypocritical, populist and opportunistic to enact the anti homo act when we have better and non contentious laws on the penal code to robustly deal with homosexuality if systems: police, DPP and courts are cleaned up.
We have used to those laws , sections 129; 145, 146, 148, to achieve numerous victories.
Many are convicts in jail, smug closed under existing laws.
The anti homo act is in constitutional court yet cases are being handled; meaning; never did we need it.
We need to be wise. Let us drop all populism, hypocrisy and opportunism; drop all arrogance and drop the anti homo act to continue getting support from the wicked if we are really wise and knowledgeable.
Otherwise, harsh economic times ahead if we continue the rhetoric that we don’t need donor money are going to worsen the economy and compel more desperate and jobless youths down the drain of homosexuality.
To all clerics; the Bible is clear that without a vision people perish, proverbs 29.18.
If you can’t see this, they blind you are.
Accept it was a blunder and don’t harden peoples hearts.
Those who we don’t need it are not going to cut down on their privileges but will ensure they squeeze more the weak, poor, desperate, oppressed and voiceless to still enjoy their privileges.
The Bible doesn’t condemn us as a country receiving money from pro homosexual sources; it only mandates us to be wise and knowledgeable to do so which our political and religious leadership has failed to realise.
