Mid last month, after being mocked by Deputy Speaker Anita Among for his torture, Francis Zaake MP for Mityana Municipality allegedly ran to his social media pages and poured venom to Among who got annoyed and vowed to discipline her.
Through Hon Ojala Martin Mapenduzi, a censure motion was tabled before parliament where Among subjected Zaake to a disciplinary action in a committee led by Bugweri county legislator Abdul Katuntu. Signatures we collected in plenty to endorse the remove of Zaake from parliament.
The accusers Ojala Mapenduzi and Busia Municipality legislator Godfrey Macho presented their evidence to pin Zaake for removal from parliamentary commission. When he appeared before the committee described the process as mob justice against him and spoke out his heart and readiness to vacate the juicy commission job as long as parliament prides in his torture.
After two weeks of investigating, Hon Katuntu presented a minority report which recommended for the removal of Zaake from the commission. The minority report read by Hon Aisha Kabanda recommended otherwise.

After hours of debate on the matter, calls by the leader of opposition for a reconciliation and dialogue between the two fell on deaf ears and a voting by secret ballot was held and voting is currently under way but by the time of filing this story only four legislators voted for No to the removal of honorable Francis Zaake from the parliamentary commission. But the results of the voting are already predicted since majority signed a censure motion even before he was committed to the Rules and Privileges committee.
