National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi akaBobi Wine has been arrested and is reportedly being driven to a Police station in areas of Kalangala Island.
Bobi Wine has been arrested along side all his campaign crew members after being ambushed by security operatives in Kalangala Islands where he was set to hold his presidential campaigns today.
According to NUP secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya, many members of the campaign team have been arrested and driven to an unknown destination.
The National Unity Platform Party confirmed the arrest of their presidential candidate on their official Facebook account.
