According to police, the former Security minister was supposed to be in this area yesterday not today, so he can’t go on to carry out campaigns unless he gets clearance from the Byabakama commission.

This comes at a time when Police on orders of the RDC for Kitgum blocked National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi wine from holding his campaign rally in the area claiming that the venue was still under inspection by the ministry of health.

Bobi wine instead decided to campaign using his songs on a microphone as his supporters cheered him and police minutes later dispersed them with teargas and that was the end of it in Kitgum. He’s currently heading to Pader and later to Gulu.
