The Buvuma aspiring Member of Parliament Ben Kiggundu has resolved to sue Airtel Uganda to High Courts of law for disconnecting him from their network during his political time.
Through his lawyers of Bukuutu & Kavulu Associates and also Wafula & CO Advocates Kiggundu cites that on 14th August at 2PM Airtel Locked his Simcard and disconnected him from communications something that has frustrated him and his electorates in Buvuma.
“the acts of Airtel not only being Illegal, Frustrated the client, Anguish and ………”. The statement says
Kiggundu Bendict is a know Journalist Based in Jinja worked in different media houses, started his ambitions for MP Buvuma in 2018. His ambitions to run in NRM Party Primaries were cut shot when he declared withdrawing from NRM to Join People Power on 19 Aug 2020 amidst the Election period of NRM Primaries.
Kiggundu who is facing NRM’s Robert Migadde through His lawyers says that on many occasion tried reaching Airtel for assistance to restore his line for Communications but in Vain. He however resort to court seeking 500M as compensations.
