Fire brand politician and FDC strong man Dr Kiiza Besigye was last night hosted ‘On the Spot’, a political show that airs every Thursday from 10:00pm to 11:30pm. During the show, Besigye dominated with calls for freedom against the NRM junta.

The four time presidential candidate however applouded the Bizonto comedians who were arrested two weeks ago and detained at special investigations Unit Kireka and relased five days later on allegations of spreading harmful tribal and sectarian statements during their comedy skits where they highlighted government’s high ranking officers who hail from the same region.

According to Besigye the Bizonto comedians have used their platform to amplify the need for change but he also mentioned vocal political analyst Tamale Mirundi, Ofwono Opondo and Andrew Mwenda as some of the top NRM Bizonto who keep defending the junta against the suffering Ugandans.

He went ahead to call the Research world people who recently released an opinion poll ahead of the 2021 general elections as also Bizontos who play Museveni’s mastercard because they portrayed him as a darling among the Ugandans and if elections were to take place, President Museveni would be ahead of his competitors with 44%, followed by the People power boss Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu with 22% and Besigye would come 3rd with 17%.

The FDC party is held between slab and rock to front the four time presidential candidate who has always said that the struggle shouldn’t be rested at the Byabakama electoral commission which is also tasked with serving Museveni’s interests. FDC has postponed twice the nomination of presidential flag bearers and inside sources say, the top party bosses are sweet talking Dr Kiiza Besigye to appear on the ballot while others link Kampala lord Mayor Erias Lukwago as an immediate replacement incase Kiiza Besigye decides not to appear on the ballot paper for the 5th time.

Our freedom is not dependant on the Byabakama-Museveni roadmap. Let us establish our own roadmap to our freedom. Let us liberate our money which they are now abusing so that we can use it to save our people
